The Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) urged on Tuesday all not to operate any drone or unmanned aerial vehicle system in Bangladesh airspace without any prior permission, reports UNB.
"This is hereby informed that recently some enthusiastic persons and organisations are flying drones, unarmed aerial vehicle systems, remote controlled planes, toy planes etc in the Bangladesh airspace without any prior permission," CAAB said in an order signed its Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Huq.
These types of unauthorised flying activities pose a serious risk of anytime causing midair collision or similar devastating air accidents with other authorised civil passenger planes regularly operated by several domestic and international airlines, the order said.
