Nomination form distribution begins

Collection of nomination forms for contesting the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and hall union elections began on Tuesday in a festive atmosphere with coexistence of all active student organisations.

Distribution of nomination forms began from 10.00 am on the day at Senate Building, and the process will continue until February 25.

Prof. S. M. Mahfuzur Rahman, chief returning officer for the polls, told the FE: "The candidates can collect nomination forms free of cost from the authorities concerned within the stipulated time. We hope that the election will be held peacefully."

Centring the distribution of nomination forms, Modhur Canteen was abuzz with members and supporters of all the student organisations.
