NRB Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mamoon Mahmood Shah has resigned from his post on personal grounds.
According to the bank sources, Mr Mahmood Shah sent a resignation letter to the chairman of the private commercial bank on January 21, showing his inability to continue his job on personal grounds.
Currently, Deputy Managing Director Md Shakir Amin Chowdhury is serving as the acting managing director of the bank, according to the bank's website.
