One death reported after a week

The country reported a new death from the deadly covid-19 in the last 24 hours until Monday morning after one week.
Taking the latest case into the account, the number of fatalities from the deadly disease reached to 29,131 in the country, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in its regular bulletin.
The deceased, a female, who died in a public hospital, was aged between 51 and 60 years hailing from Dhaka division.
Earlier, the country reported two deaths on Monday last week.
Some 34 patients were also diagnosed with the viral disease in the 24 hours period that took the total figure to 19,53,481.
The DGHS reported the positivity rate at 0.63 per cent in the latest period and 13.84 for the entire period.
Some 5,370 samples were tested in the latest time-frame that took total number of tests to 1,41,18,272 so far.
Dhaka division recorded 25 positive cases in the reporting period, while Chattogram and Sylhet recorded four cases, as well as Khulna division recorded one case.
Some 169 people recovered from covid in the 24 hours, the bulletin said and added that recovery rate has been 97.39.
Bangladesh reported the first covid positive case and fatality on March 2020.
Meanwhile, according to reports by agencies, globally the overall number of Covid cases is fast approaching 532 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 531,678,528 while the death toll from the virus reached 6,310,915 on Monday morning.
The US has recorded 85,716,214 cases so far and 1,031,273 people have died from the virus in the country, the data shows.
India's COVID-19 tally rose to 43,153,043 on Sunday, as 2,828 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry's latest data.
Besides, 14 deaths from the pandemic registered across the country since Saturday morning took the total death toll to 524,586.
