Pakistani held with Indian Rs 8.81m at Dhaka airport

Customs officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka arrested a Pakistani national and recovered Indian currency worth 88,17,000 rupees from his possession on Friday night, reports UNB.
Contacted, Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Nazma Zabin said the
Pakistani citizen identified as Asimullah Khan landed at the airport from Pakistan by a flight of Emirates Airlines about 7:45 pm.
When he was about to leave the customs lounge with a big suitcase and
a hand bag, customs officials scanned his luggage and detected presence of the currency, she said.
After searching the luggage, costumes officials found the consignment of Indian currency, AC Zabin added.
A case was filed with the Airport thana in this connection.
