Pallabi 6-murder: HC confirms death penalty of three

Acquitting one, the High Court Sunday confirmed the death penalty of three of the four condemned convicts in the sensational Pallabi six-murder case, reports UNB.

The HC confirmed the conviction of Masum Matabbar, Zakir Hossain Bahar and Kamruzzaman Kamrul and acquitted Mohammad Azim of the murder charge.

An HC bench comprising Justice Mohammad Asaduzzaman and Justice Mohammad Shahidul Karim delivered the judgment after hearing the death references and appeals.

The case was filed following the murder of six people by the convicts at a house in the city's Pallabi area on October 13, 2006.
