PM orders to preserve copies of Louis Kahn's design of JS Bhaban

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina witnessed on Monday the Architect Louis Isadore Kahn's original architectural design of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, reports UNB.

She saw the main design of the world's most dignified and historic parliamentary establishment with keen interest at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

Chief Architect of the Department of Architecture Architect Kazi Golam Nasir briefed the Prime Minister on various features of the design. At that time, Sheikh Hasina directed the authorities concerned to preserve copies of the main design of Luis I Kahn at the Jatiya Sangsad as well as the National Archive.
