Probe body visits 2 RAB offices

NARAYANGANJ, June 14 (UNB): The probe committee, formed by the government to investigate the killing of seven people, visited RAB-11 headquarters and another office of the elite force here on Saturday.
Sources said the probe body members visited RAB-11 headquarters located in Adamjee area and the camp office of Special Crime Prevention Company in Puratan Court area of the city and talked to RAB officials there.
However, the team members did not talk to reporters over their visits.
Two former RAB officials-- Lt Col Tareque Sayeed Mohammad (ex-commander of RAB-11) and Maj Arif Hossain -- were arrested from Cantonment area in the capital on May 16 for their suspected involvement in the abduction and murder of seven people, including Narayanganj city panel mayor Nazrul Islam.
