Probe report on BB reserve heist case on May 18

A Dhaka court on Thursday set May 18 as the new deadline for submitting the probe report in the Bangladesh Bank reserve heist case of 2016, reports BSS.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman set the date as the investigation agency Criminal Investigation Department (CID), failed to submit the report on the day.

Hackers' stole $101m from BB's accounts with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in February 2016. Of the amount, $81 million was transferred to four accounts with RCBC in the Philippines and another $20 million to a bank in Sri Lanka.
