Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus Thursday joined the interactive plenary session of the World Governments Summit (WGS) at its venue in Dubai, the UAE, reports BSS.
The session was moderated by Becky Anderson of CNN, according to a message received.
Prof Yunus reached Dubai on Wednesday night to take part in the World Governments Summit.
Minister of Sports of the United Arab Emirates Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi received him.
The summit will bring together governments, international organisations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from around the globe to foster international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges, ultimately inspiring and empowering the next generation of governments.
The programme will focus on shaping a better future for humanity and will highlight six main thematic conversations - effective governance and accountability; financing the future and the global economy; climate, crisis mitigation, and resilient cities; human-centric futures and capacity building; global health transformations; and emerging frontiers and the future.
