Pry schools to remain open in first 10 days of Ramadan

The government has decided to keep the regular activities and classes of government primary schools open for the first 10 days of Ramadan.
A notice from the Directorate of Primary Education stated, "During the holy month of Ramadan, classes in primary schools will be held from 9am to 3pm, with a 15-minute break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm for Zohr prayers," reports by BSS
The madrasa holiday, originally scheduled to start on March 7 in observance of Ramadan, has been revised.
According to the new decision, classes and academic activities will continue in all madrasas until March 21.
Initially, the annual holiday list had designated 30 days of closure for primary schools during Ramadan.
However, on February 9, the ministry revised this plan, extending school hours to allow for learning during the beginning of the holy month.
