Chehlum of Qazi Huamyun Azad Bakhsh, the senior editorial consultant of the Financial Express and former acting chairman of the Bangladesh Tariff Commission, will be held today (Friday).
The chehlum will be held after Asr prayer at the deceased's residence in the city at 14 North Road (Bhuter Goli).
Azad (61), son of late Qazi Mohammad Bakhsh, died following a massive cardiac arrest at his apartment residence Saturday morning.
In his prolonged service career as a civil servant, he worked with the Ministry of Information and other ministries of the government. After retirement, he worked with The Financial Express until his death.
