A part of the content of a weekly column, 'Thinking Loud', that appeared in the issue of this paper on March 13 last under the title, 'Women's empowerment: Demystifying myths and realties' had some "unsavoury" comments on the role, performance and activities of a top-level woman executive of the Bangladesh Bank (BB), contrary to the editorial policy of the paper.
The FE, however, expresses its deep regret for such an inadvertent mistake at the time of editing the copy.
