'Roads near Tejgaon truck stand to remain free of illegal parking again'

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Panel Mayor Jamal Mostafa said on Sunday roads near the Tejgaon truck stand will remain free from illegal parking from Monday, reports UNB.

He came up with the information while talking to reporters following a meeting with truck owners and workers after visiting the roads which were illegally occupied.

Jamal said they were working to free all the roads of Dhaka to lessen city dwellers' sufferings.

At the meeting held at the office of the truck owners-workers' association, the owners and workers promised to keep the roads in truck stand area free of illegal parking.

"We're working with devotion to implement the vision of late DNCC Mayor Annisul Huq to make modern city free of traffic chaos," the DNCC panel mayor added.
