Robbers commit dacoity in city house wearing RAB uniforms

Dacoits introducing them as RAB members entered into a gold trader's house and took away cash and gold ornaments worth about Tk 2.2 million at Bhagalpur Road in Hazaribagh area in the city Friday night, reports UNB.
Inmates of the house and witnesses said the dacoits numbering eight entered the house introducing them as members of RAB-10 at 62 Nalanban Shaha Lane at Bhagalpur Road after zero hours Friday.
"Seven members of the gang wore RAB uniforms, while another was in plainclothes," said an inmate of the house.
The gangsters searched all rooms of the house and looted Tk 0.2 million in cash and 120 tolas of gold ornaments.
At one stage, the gangsters blindfolded gold trader Gubindra Karmakar and dragged him out of the house.
Later, the gangsters fled the scene with booty leaving Gobindra on the road, some 100 yards of the house. A case was filed with Hazaribagh police station.
