Operation of the Royal Bengal Airline, a private domestic carrier, remained suspended for the last one week aggravating domestic passengers' woes.
Royal Bengal Airline, owned by the RB Airline of United Kingdom, launched its operation in the country in February in 2008.
"Our operation remained suspended for few days. This is mainly because of conducting maintenance works," Moidur Rahman, station in-charge, told the FE.
The private airline operated its flights with a Canadian Dash-8 aircraft with the capacity of 36 passengers.
Royal Bengal Airline has a provisional domestic, regional and international passenger and cargo operating licence from the government used to fly between Dhaka-Chittagong-Cox's Bazar route for more than one year.
