SC upholds Khaleda's HC bail in Cumilla case

The Supreme Court (SC) upheld on Tuesday a High Court order that granted bail to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in a case filed under the Special Powers Act over the arson attack in Cumilla on February 03, 2015, reports UNB.
A four-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order.
The SC also ordered to dispose the maintainability of the petition within seven days.
Earlier on Monday, the SC fixed the date after completing hearing of the leave-to-appeal petition filed against the High Court order.
