Seven killed, 10 hurt in Bogra road crash

BOGRA, Nov 30 (UNB): At least seven people were killed and 10 others injured when a bus and a human hauler collided head-on at Chhankar Biroil in Sherpur Upazila Monday.
Four of the dead were identified as Sadhon (30), Bhola, (60), Majid, (30) and Manik, (20) -- all from Sherpur Upazila. The identity of other victims of Raiganj Upazila in Sirajganj district could not be known immediately.
Police and witnesses said the accident took place on the Dhaka-Bogra Highway when the Dhaka-bound bus from Bogra collided with the human hauler coming from the opposite direction at about 5:30pm.
All the victims were passengers of the human hauler.
The injured were admitted to the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
