Basit Khan Musa, who has been fighting for his life for the last 94 days, was sent to Singapore on Tuesday for better medical treatment.
Seven-year-old Musa was shot in the head on July 19 near his residence in Rampura during the July-August uprising. He was with his grandmother at that time.
He departed from Dhaka airport on a Singaporean air ambulance, arranged by Channel i under the supervision of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, according to Channel i sources.
The boy was initially treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later transferred to the intensive care unit at Combined Military Hospital, where he remained on life support.
Treatment arrangements in Singapore were made based on doctors' advice. He will be admitted to the National University Hospital upon arrival, the sources added.
