Sex-worker dies of AIDS in Khulna

A sex-worker died of AIDS at Baniashanta in Dakop Upazila under Khulna Friday evening. According to the doctors, Maruua (32), had long been in a brothel at Mumbai in India. When tested HIV positive she was pushed to Bangladesh in October 2005. Since then she was provided with medical treatment under the supervision of a local NGO. — UNB
