An incident of attack allegedly took place at the citizens' rally organised by National Revolutionary Council (Jatiya Biplobi Parisahd) demanding elimination of fascism and writing of a new constitution at Central Shaheed Minar in the capital on Saturday.
Faruk Hasan, spokesperson for Gonoadhikar Parishad, received injury during the attack that created a tense situation for a brief period.
Family members of the persons injured during the July-August uprising against  fascist Sheikh Hasina attended the rally and criticised the interim government.
Fruk Hasan said that they never wanted an interim government; rather they wanted a revolutionary government after the fall of fascist Sheikh Hasina.
He said that they would not accept the present constitution as fascist Sheikh Hasina misruled the country under the existing constitution.
At one point of his (Faruk Hasan) speech, the audience (general people) moved and resisted Faruk Hasan. He came under sudden attack and left the rally venue.
Meanwhile, member secretary of National Revolutionary Council Hasan Md Arif said that they had no knowledge about attack on Faruk Hasan.
