Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Thursday announced that they would not go back to their classes and would not sit for examinations until their three-point demands, which include permanent expulsion of Abrar's killers, were met.

Aniruddha Ganguli, a computer science and engineering (CSE) student of BUET, made the announcement on Thursday afternoon.

He thanked the police administration for submitting charge sheets quickly and said, "Abrar's father filed a case against 19 accused students involved with the murder and police have brought charges against them along with another six students. It is a great achievement, we cordially thank them but police have not arrested four students till now. We are hopeful that those four students will also be arrested soon."

He read out the three-point demands and said that they had placed the demands officially on November 02 to the BUET administration at a meeting but they did not see any effective measure to fulfil that.
