Take up dev plans in public interests, says PM

Institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh presented the lifetime achievement award to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at its 20th National Council in the city Wednesday. — BSS

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina said development plans should be taken considering the highest benefit of the common people at the low cost, reports UNB.

"Ministers, lawmakers and those powerful try to approve development programmes like roads or railway tracks construction beside their homes but development plans should be undertaken considering the highest benefit of the common people," she said.

This was observed by the PM at the 20th National Conference and 38th Council Session of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) held at IDEB building on Wednesday.
