Each cardholder can buy a maximum of 2.0 litres of soya-bean oil at Tk 100 per litre and 2.0-kg lentil at Tk 60 per kg.

Besides, they also can purchase 5.0-kilo rice at Tk 30 per kg from specific TCB points.

Senior officials of commerce ministry, TCB chairman and officials as well as local leaders, among others, are also expected to be present at the programme.

TCB dealers will operate sales activities from their shops or selected points as per schedule with the support of the city and local-government authorities.

The state entity is working to create a buffer stock for at least one and a half to two months while keeping the supply intact for a stable market.
