Teesta water flow suddenly rises almost 4 times

RANGPUR, Apr 22, 2014 (BSS): The water flow in the Teesta marked sudden rise by several times exceeding 3,000 cusecs at the Teesta Barrage Project (TBP) point at Dalia in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari from this noon, official sources said.
"The Teesta water flow rose to 3,006 cusecs at the TBP point at 12 this noon," Executive Engineer of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) for the TBP Division at Dalia Mahbubur Rahman informed the news agency at 7:35 Tuesday evening.
