Temperatures on rise, nor’westers at end of April

Temperatures throughout Bangladesh have been on the rise since the turn of the Bangla new year, reports bdnews24.com.
The country is experiencing searing heat and humidity following a recent string of thunderstorms.
The Met office forecasts a heat wave to grip different regions of the country after Friday.
A temperature of 35.7 degrees Celsius, the highest in the country, was recorded in Chuadanga on Tuesday.
In many areas of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna, the temperature was above 35 degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorms have also swept across Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet.
Heat waves might spread across the country from Apr 18 to Apr 20, said Meteorologist Aftab Uddin.
There will be a surge of Nor'westers at the end of April while there is also the worry of a depression forming in the sea, he added.
Nor'westers could occur every afternoon this season, according to the meteorologist.
