The driver of this microbus thought he could cross the railway tracks when the level-crossing bar was coming down to obstruct vehicular movement as a train was approaching. But the driver changed his mind at the last moment and stopped abruptly as the train almost reached the crossing. He then held a bamboo pole attached to the iron bar, in a bid to protect the windshield of the vehicle from being hit by the bar. A situation like this often causes accidents.
