Three children die in Cox's Bazar boat capsize

COX'S BAZAR, Feb 19 (UNB): Three children drowned and 30 others were injured as an overloaded boat capsized in the Moheshkhali channel of the Bay near Gorokghata Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rumi (2), daughter of Saber Ahmed of Lamba Ghona village, and Saiful (3), son of Nurul Islam, and Taslima (8), daughter of Nasiruddin, of Futibeel village under Moheshkhali Upazila.
The police said the engine-driven Kutubdia-bound boat with nearly 70 pilgrims on board against its capacity of 30 people capsized shortly after setting sail from Moheshkhali Gorokghata at about 9:30am.
