Three officials of two sugar-mills under the Bangladesh Sugar & Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) have been temporarily suspended for underperforming duties, enjoying unapproved absence and other irregularities, the state-run corporation said.
BSFIC Chairman Ranajit Kumar Biswas ordered their suspension during his sudden visits to six sugar-mills and sugarcane purchase centres in Natore, Pabna and Kushtia districts Thursday, the corporation said in a statement.
The statement however could not name the officials suspended.
