Tk 52.69b DNCC budget announced

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has announced a Tk 52.69 billion budget for fiscal year 2023-24, reports BSS.

In FY 2022-23, the budget was Tk 50.49 billion.

DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam announced the budget at a press conference at DNCC Nagarbhaban hall room at Gulshan in the city.

The revenue income from own sources is estimated to be Tk 18.30 billion while Tk 147.5 million is expected to come from other sources and Tk 45.7 million from grant or assistance.

The government would provide Tk 541.2 million as grant (development assistance). Besides, Tk 23.89 billion will come from government and foreign aid-based projects.

The revenue expenditure in the budget is estimated to be of Tk 8.57 billion and other expenditure is Tk 145.0 million.

The development cost (own sources) of the budget is Tk 15.14 billion, development cost (government development assistance) is Tk 541.2 million and development cost (government and foreign aid based projects) is 23.88 billion.
