The government has constituted two separate committees to survey the damage as well as security lapse following violent attacks on government offices, including two metro stations, BRTA and Setu Bhaban.
The attacks were made on Thursday and Friday.
Sources said the Road Transport and Highways Division under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges formed a seven-member committee, led by additional secretary (development).
They said the committee, which sat on Monday, would estimate the damage done to buildings and equipment of BRTA Bhaban, Setu Bhaban and divisional offices of Roads and Highways Department.
The committee members will inspect all the buildings and prepare a report within five working days.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited formed a technical committee with Mohammad Zakaria, additional project director (electrical, signalling, telecoms and track section of MRT-06) as its convener.
Officials said the eight-member technical committee would also have a member of the Japanese consulting firm. It will submit a report in 10 working days.
General manager (signalling and telecoms) and general manager (electrical, ADP Civil of MRT-06) and project manager are the members of the panel.
Acting team leader Nippon KOEI Delhi Metro Association Takayuki Fujitomi has been included from the consultant and GM (operations) Iftekhar Hossain as member secretary.
An angry mob torched at least 40 vehicles of Setu Bhaban, breaking glass windows at Mohakhali. Another group torched a police box and a footbridge under the viaduct of Mirpur-10 station of MRT-06 on Thursday.
On Friday, crowds also attacked BRTA Bhaban and RHD office at Mohakhali and Mirpur-10 and Kazipara MRT stations, damaging entire concourse with all machines.
The damage to the MRT stations forced the DMTCL to close the metro service for an indefinite period.
It is also claimed that the mob also looted valuables, including computers and display boards.
