Two defamation cases filed against Bashundhara chairman, MD

DHAKA, Sept 01, 2024 (BSS) - Two defamation cases were filed today against 10 people including Bashundhara Group chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and his son and group's Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir.

Diamond World Ltd Managing Director Dilip Kumar Agarwala brought Taka 1,000 crore defamation charges with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arfatul Rakib while former President of Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) Enamul Haque Khan Dolon filed Taka 100 crore defamation case with the same court.
