The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations on two papers scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday have been rescheduled due to a fresh nationwide 72-hour strike.

The BNP-led 20-party alliance has given the fresh hartal call as part of their ongoing movement.

According to the new schedule, English first paper exam now will be held at 9:00 am on February 13 and English 2nd paper exam at 10:00am on February 14.

Our Chittagong Correspondent adds: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Saturday announced the fresh schedule at a press conference in the port city.

Taking the security of students into account, he said, the examinations were rescheduled.

During his visit to the schools in the morning he urged the BNP and its allies to call off the 72-hour hartal.

Meanwhile, the SSC examinees Saturday took their Bangla second part examination amid panic.
