Two construction workers were killed and another was critically injured when a passenger bus hit the Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover construction site in the capital on Saturday, police said.
On-duty police officer of the Ramna zone Nazmul Islam told the FE that a Mohakhali-bound bus of 'Pravati Bonosree Paribahan' lost control and hit the site around 10:00 am, leaving the two workers -- Asadul, 17, and his brother Mazed, 15 -- dead on the spot.
The identity of the injured worker couldn't be known immediately. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a critical condition, the police officer said, adding that the bus driver was arrested soon after the accident.
