ULFA major held from Mymensingh

A Major of United Liberation Front of Asam (ULFA) of India was arrested Sunday from a nursing home in Mymensingh where he was undergoing treatment, reports UNB.
High-level police sources here said they have heard of arrest of Ranjan Chowdhury alias Masud Ranjan Chowdhury from a nursing home in Mymensingh.
But neither police nor RAB in Mymensingh would confirm the arrest of the ULFA leader. They pleaded ignorance about it.
But Aragya Nursing Home in Mymensingh town confirmed that a group of white clothed people took away Ranjan.
