Voter listing begins in city Nov 20

Work for preparing voter list with photographs and national ID cards will begin in the capital on November 20 and this most arduous task under the Election Commission's voter-roll project will continue up to next January, reports UNB.
As part of the task, information collectors will start collecting information through door-to-door visit in Dhaka City Corporation areas by turn, said the Election Commission secretariat Saturday."The task of data-collection phase is expected to be completed within 7-10 days of the start," it said in a news release.
However, taking photographs and data entry will begin on December 1 and are expected to be completed by January 31, 2008. People of their respective areas have been requested to assist the enumerators in collecting data for enlisting their names in the voter list.
