Xi Jinping greets Shahabuddin

Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter to Mohammed Shahabuddin on his assuming office as President of Bangladesh, reports UNB.

On behalf of the Government of People's Republic of China and its people as well as in his own name, Xi Jinping conveys his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Shahabuddin.

Xi Jinping noted that China and Bangladesh are traditionally friendly neighbours.

In the letter Xi expressed his wishes for prosperity to the country and happiness to the people of Bangladesh.
