Young man stabbed to death in city

A young man was stabbed to death over a silly matter in the city's Pallabi area Saturday evening. Police arrested the alleged killer soon after the incident, reports UNB.
Police, quoting witnesses, said the victim Amir Hossain alias Purna (20) was eating 'chot poti' at a roadside shop at Bauniabad of Lalmatia in Pallabi in the evening. He had an altercation with the 'Chat poti' shop owner Sanaullah over a silly matter. At one stage Sanaullah allegedly stabbed Purna in the chest. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead, said Officer-in-charge of Pallabi police station Md Momin. Police arrested the alleged killer Sanaullah from the area soon after the incident.
