Youth's hanging body recovered from city park

Police recovered hanging body of an unidentified young man from Pantha Kunja Park in the capital's Shahbagh area on early Wednesday. The deceased was presumably around 25.

A police official at Shabagh Police Station told the FE that being informed they rushed to the park and recovered the body hanging from a banyan tree with a scarf.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.

The police official further said as per available primary information they came to know that the deceased had passed a vagrant life.

He, however, said the real cause of death could be ascertained after getting the autopsy report.
