Zero Covid death, 56 cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh witnessed another deathless day but recorded 56 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
With the latest counts, the entire caseload stands at 1,951,714 while the total death toll due to the respiratory disease caused by the virus remains at 29,122.
A total of 6,367 samples were tested in 879 labs across the country in the 24-hour period yielding a daily positivity rate of 0.88 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 1.49 per cent.
A total of 717 people recovered during the same period, taking the total recoveries to 1,882,914.
An estimated 13.83 million samples were tested across the country since the detection of the virus on 08 March 2020.
