Zero death for second day

Zero fatality from Covid-19 was reported in Bangladesh for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, while the coronavirus test positivity rate inched down again to 1.38 per cent.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported a positivity rate at 1.54 per cent on Tuesday.
However, the daily Covid-19 caseloads also fell to 182 during the last 24 hours until 8:0 am on Wednesday compared to that of 217 on Tuesday.
With the latest daily counts, the total fatalities from Covid-19 reached 29,112 since the virus was detected first in the country in March 2020.
A total of 13,179 samples were tested against 13,062 samples collected across the country during the last 24 hours until 8:0 am on the day.
A total of 1,192 more people recovered from the coronavirus disease in the country on Wednesday. The rate of recovery was reported at 95.67 per cent on the day.
