How often do you clean these household counters?

The thought of cleaning every day can be exhausting, especially after a long day at work. While most household cleaning tasks are saved for the weekends, a few things need more attention. What comes first? Of course, bedsheets.
We spend at least 8-10 hours in bed each day. Dark-coloured sheets might hide the dirt but still collect sweat, body oils, and other grime. We often let our guests sit on our beds, babies drop their food, plating on beds, etc. We barely notice the dirt we share on the bed sheets and pillow covers. Change and wash your bedsheets every two weeks to a month to keep your sleeping environment clean and healthy.
Quilts are heavy fabrics that make us comfortable while sleeping in cold, air-conditioned rooms. We often forget to clean them, thinking that it takes a lot more time to dry up. If you use the quilt every night, then it has to be cleaned once a month.
Mosquito nets can also gather unimaginable dirt and dust with daily use. Even if you use coils and repellents, you can't ignore that shield once you're habituated to a mosquito net that protects you from unwanted guests. When you wash it, you might be surprised to see its original colour again!
Bathing towels are essential items we use frequently, not just for bathing but also for wiping away sweat and drying our hands. It's basic to wash them regularly. And don't forget about rags, which trap dirt and dust. They can also harbour invisible germs. Doormats collect dirt and dust from our shoes and sandals. So, wash rugs and doormats monthly to keep them effective and ensure the safety of your family members.
Door knobs, handles and switchboards go unnoticed. They are touched multiple times a day, especially after coming in from outside or with wet hands that attract more dust or dirty hands. Wipe them regularly so as not to let them become germ hotspots.
If you haven't cleaned your ceiling fan in a while, you'll likely see a thick layer of black dust on it. Dust the ceiling fan at least once a month to keep it looking nice and functioning well and prevent dust from dispersing into the air. The range hood filter of the kitchen hood above the stove collects grease over time. It is necessary to clean it often as the accumulated dirt and grease reduce effectiveness.
Lastly, if you have a toddler in the house, ensure their toys are washed at least once a week. It carries so many unhygienic objects that we can never imagine. Others, like kitchen counters and washroom items, cannot be overlooked.
Cleaning, dusting, and washing have no limits. The more you pay attention to them, the more they will help maintain a clean, healthy home environment for everyone.
