CHATTOGRAM, June 18: About 0.1 million (91,200) doses of Chinese vaccines reached the port city today (Friday). The shots packed in 152 cartons were sent from the capital to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office.
Civil Surgeon Dr Fazle Rabbi received the vaccines this morning.
Talking to journalists at the Civil Surgeon's office, Dr Fazle Rabbi acknowledged that he received 152 boxes containing the Chinese jabs. However, he said the decision about whom the shots will be applied on is yet to be taken.
"I have received a total of 91200 doses of Chinese vaccines which are allocated for Chattogram district," he said.
The decision in this regard will be taken after holding a meeting with concerned government departments and others, he added.
