The 102nd birth anniversary of Mirza Mehdy Ispahani, former chairman of MM Ispahani Ltd, and founder of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School, was observed on Wednesday with due respect and solemnity on the school premises in Pahartali of Chattogram, says a press release.
Mirza Mehdy Ispahani was the son of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani and father of Mirza Salman Ispahani, a renowned industrialist, educationist, and the incumbent chairman of the Ispahani Group.
To mark the day, a milad fahfil and a discussion in memory for him were held, while chess, drawing, essay writing and handwriting competitions were organised for the students.
