107 DU students get The Duke of Edinburgh’s Int’l Award

A total of 107 students from Dhaka University (DU) have received The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award under Bronze (77) and Silver (30) Level for their outstanding successes in completion of different self -development activities at a programme in the city on Thursday last, says a press release.
Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, attended the programme as the chief guest while Rizwan Bin Farouq, chairman of executive committee of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh was present as the special guest. Dr Mahjabeen Haque, award coordinator and director of Students Counselling and Guidance Office was also present with other award achievers, including Mizanur Rahman, Tanveer Rahman, and Prashanta Majumdar on the occasion.
