11 back from India serving jail term

BENAPOLE, May 26 (UNB): Eleven Bangladeshi construction workers have returned home from India on completion of their two and a half years in prison in that country.
Indian police handed over the workers to the Bangladesh Immigration Police at Benapole check post Sunday night.
The returnees hail from Satkhira and Rajshahi districts.
Monir Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of the immigration police at Benapole check post, said the 11 workers had been arrested by Indian police from Kerala town for entering India illegally in November, 2011.
