11 burned in Rupganj factory fire

Eleven people received burn injuries as a fire broke out at a spinning mill in Rupganj Upazila of Narayanganj district early Thursday; and eight of the victims were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), reports UNB.
Duty officer Farhaduzzaman of Fire Service Headquarters said the fire erupted from excess heat of machineries at Noab Ali Spinning Mill at Tatki Jatramura in the upazila around 2:15am and it soon spread to the entire mill.
