SYLHET. Oct 20:  Eleven prosecution witnesses in the sensational killing case of 13-year-old Samiul Alam Rajon will be quizzed by pleader of the prime accused Kamrul Islam.

The Sylhet Metropolitan sessions judge Akbar Hossain Mridha ordered it as Kamrul's counsel appealed for quizzing the prosecution witnesses today. It would be started tomorrow (Wednesday), sources informed.

Earleir on  October 18, Kamrul was produced before the trial court when his pleaders prayed for second time quizzing the prosecution witnesses since he (Kamrul) had been absent at the time of deposition recording, but the judge rejected the prayer. The judge concluded deposition recording of 36 witnesses that day.

The prime accused was earlier brought back to the country on October 15 from Saudi Arabia and was taken to Sylhet the same night. Two accused, including Kamrul's brother Shamim and Zakir Hossain Pavel had been absconding. Eleven out of 13 charge- sheeted accused were present on the dock today.

Kamrul and others tortured the minor boy dead on July 8 at the Kumargaon bus stand in Sylhet city on the baseless allegation of stealing a van. While dumping the body the locals caught a man and handed him over to the police, but the others managed to escape the scene. The prime accused Kamrul flew to Saudi Arabia after five days of the occurrence while expatriate Bangladeshis caught and handed him over to Riyadh police. Recorded by the accused, the video clip of inhuman torture of the victim went viral on the social media, which helped the expatriate Bangladeshis to catch him there.
