13 Covid, 11 dengue cases reported

Bangladesh registered thirteen more Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours until Tuesday morning, reports UNB.
With the new numbers, the country's total caseload rose to 2,038,174, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remains unchanged at 29,446 as no new fatalities were reported.
The daily case test positivity dropped to 0.66 per cent from Monday's 1.55 per cent as 1969 samples were tested.
However, the recovery and death rates remains unchanged at 98.40 per cent and 1.44 per cent, respectively.
Meanwhile, eleven more patients were hospitalised with dengue in the last 24 hours until Tuesday morning.
Of the new patients, five were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and the rest outside it, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Thirty-two dengue patients, including 18 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
So far, the DGHS has recorded 941 dengue cases, 899 recoveries, and ten deaths this year.
