14 houses gutted in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, May 30 (BSS): A total of 14 dwelling houses were gutted in a devastating fire in Khaliash area under Satkhania Upazila of the district Friday.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from a cooking oven at about 8.40 am and soon engulfed other adjoining houses.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze with the help of locals at about 10.30 am.
